Let’s discuss SCOM SSRS permissions.\u00a0 The SCOM Reporting role install really comes down to three (3) things – permissions, latest SSRS EXE downloaded (for install 2019<\/a>, 2022<\/a>), and ReportExtensions configuration<\/a>.\u00a0 I’ve hit some permission issues that need more ‘how to’ details.<\/p>\n

Set SCOM Admins group permissions<\/h3>\n

Whether the permissions are set up as part of a group policy (GPO) or not, if these steps are missing, expect problems.<\/p>\n

Verify that your SCOM Admins domain group is a local administrator on the SCOM servers (SSRS server in this case)<\/span><\/p>\n

Right click on Start > Computer Management<\/b><\/p>\n

Expand System Tools<\/p>\n

Expand Local Users and Groups<\/p>\n

Click on Groups<\/p>\n

Double click on Administrators<\/p>\n

Verify SCOM Admins group, or specific service\/MSA accounts are listed<\/p>\n
