ago.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This was brought to my attention for\u00a0Dashboard functionality from SCOM 2012R2 to\u00a0provide visibility for Windows Computer Health state<\/p>\n<p>After a history lesson, I had to find the source!<\/p>\n<p>256 cores increased the limit in Windows Server 2008R2<\/p>\n<p>Prior it was 64 cores (look how far we&#8217;ve come!)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Processor\u00a0perfmon object is potentially\u00a0limited since.\u00a0\u00a0The Windows Team built the &#8216;Processor Information&#8217; counter to handle above\u00a064 cores (256 as of the below article)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"xK5xDmohJY\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.msdn.microsoft.com\/saponsqlserver\/2010\/09\/24\/windows-2008-r2-performance-monitor-processor-information-counters-have-replaced-processor-counters\/\">Windows 2008 R2 Monitoring Tab<\/p>\n<p>Click on the Windows Computer view<\/p>\n<p>Highlight the computer you want to see performance information on<\/p>\n<p>Click the &#8216;Windows Server Task Pane Dashboard&#8217; in Tasks pane<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1370\" height=\"477\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3595\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/kevinjustin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/WindowsServer-Task-Pane-Dashboard.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What happened to CPU!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1114\" height=\"709\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3625\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/kevinjustin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Broken-Dashboard.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Using with SCOM 2012R2, 2016, and even TP1801 the Dashboard happened to work on my DC&#8217;s.\u00a0 Processor is gathered from the\u00a0AD Directory Services management packs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With some help, the\u00a0Task Pane Dashboard was corrected to target Processor Information versus Processor<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1116\" height=\"709\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3615\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/kevinjustin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/TaskPane-Dashboard.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you use the console to troubleshoot issues, it&#8217;s simple to do.<\/p>\n<p>Save the packs from the Gallery, and import the two MP&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>Go
